DTC P20BD:11

DTC P20BD:12

DTC P20BD:13

Urea pump heater circuit malfunction (short to ground/short to power supply and open)

DETECTION CONDITION
•  The SCR control unit monitors the input signal from the urea pump heater when the ignition is switched ON. The SCR control unit determines that there is a malfunction in the urea hose heater.
Monitoring condition
―  Following conditions are met:
•  Battery voltage: 9—16 V
•  Time from switch the ignition ON: 10 s (DTC P20BD:11)
Diagnostic support note
•  The MIL/SCR warning light illuminates if the SCR control unit detects the above malfunction condition in first drive cycle.
•  PENDING CODE is available if the SCR control unit detects the above malfunction condition during the first drive cycle.
•  FREEZE FRAME DATA (mode2) and snapshot data are available.
•  The DTC is stored in the SCR control unit memory.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
•  Urea pump heater short cord connector or terminal malfunction
•  Short to power supply in wiring harness between urea pump heater short cord terminal B and SCR control unit terminal 6
•  Short to ground in the wiring harness between urea pump heater short cord terminal B and SCR control unit terminal 6
•  Open circuit in the wiring harness between urea pump heater short cord terminal B and SCR control unit terminal 6
•  Open circuit in the wiring harness between urea pump heater short cord terminal O and body ground
•  SCR control unit connector or terminal malfunction
•  Urea pump heater connector or terminal malfunction
•  Urea pump heater malfunction
•  SCR control unit malfunction
